The Yorkshire Dales offers some fantastic riding through gorgeous scenery. There are miles of quiet country lanes providing you with a brilliant selection of on-road cycle rides of different lengths and difficulties. There are some of the most famous climbs in the UK to take on including Buttertubs Pass, Fleet Moss, Park Rash and the Coal Road or you can visit the highest pub in England at Tan Hill. If you need a gentler day in the saddle there are some long valley rides and the more undulating countryside to explore.
Likewise, there are miles of bridleways to discover on a mountain bike. The trails are on a mixture of surfaces from wide stone tracks, to heather moorland and paths over limestone grassland, and all winding their way through tremendous landscapes of high fells, limestone uplands, dry stone walls and valley pastures.
